So I decided to get on the bandwagon, so to speak, and post my 100 Things about me:

1. I was an only child for about 4 ½ years.

2. I now have 2 younger brothers, but still sometimes act like I am an only child.

3. I also have a sister-in-law and one niece who was born August 29, 2002.

4. My parents have been married for 36 years.

5. My parents are very cool, yet conservative.

6. I was born 9 ½ months after my parents’ wedding.

7. I’m in my mid-thirties and will be lucky to be married for 36 years total before I die.

8. I never thought I’d get married in the first place.

9. Now I have an awesome boyfriend.

10. We talk about getting married even though we’ve only been together for 7 months.

11. He is divorced with three kids.

12. I never thought I’d be a mother, much less a step-mother.

13. My life is turning out differently than I expected, but still really good (so far).

14. I am the last one of my girlfriends from home who is not married.

15. I am much more okay with that now that I am madly in love.

16. I have an MBA.

17. I don’t need it for my current job but I like to think it helps out when competing for promotions.

18. I work in a large high rise building in Boston.

19. It makes me nervous to go there when we’re on Orange level security.

20. I still go, though.

21. I take public transportation to work every day.

22. Every day on the subway I say to myself, "now I’ve seen it all."

23. I have naturally curly hair.

24. My eyes are blue.

25. My hair is blonde.

26. I used to weigh a bit more than I do now and I still feel like that chubby girl.

27. I find it hard to accept a compliment, especially one about how I look.

28. I go to the gym 4 times a week (usually) and I go during my lunch hour.

29. I feel uncomfortable changing in the locker room at the gym.

30. I drink a lot of Diet Pepsi, but not during work.

31. I drink 2 to 3 liters of water a day during work.

32. I like coffee and I drink it black but can only have about a cup or I get jittery.

33. I haven’t eaten red meat in over ten years.

34. I get really sick if I eat a pepper or something that a pepper touched.

35. Amazingly, this does not apply to salsa.

36. I love kalamata olives, feta cheese, eggplant and zucchini.

37. I also love chocolate.

38. I went deep sea fishing for the first time last summer and caught bass.

39. I cooked some of the bass I caught for my boyfriend on one of our first dates.

40. He still brags about that to his buddies.

41. He’s the best boyfriend ever because he puts up with my wacky moods.

42. I have lived alone for about 7 years.

43. I have specific ideas about the way things should be done at home.

44. I need to get over that if I think I’m going to be a wife and step-mother some day.

45. I am extremely conflicted about whether I want to have a baby of my own some day.

46. I think and hope I still have time to decide.

47. I love reality TV, especially "Survivor."

48. I also love "Jeopardy!"

49. Alex Trebec, I can take or leave.

50. I am a big Red Sox fan.

51. They let me down every year.

52. This could very well be their year!

53. I think I say that every year.

54. Johnny Damon is my current favorite.

55. I’ve never met him, though.

56. I met P. J. Stock.

57. I prefer bras that hook in the front.

58. They are sometimes hard to find.

59. I almost never used to wear bikini underwear but I’ve started to and they’re not so bad.

60. I used to hate that my stomach would hang over the top but it doesn’t so much any more.

61. I have been to Spain, France, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Ireland, Bermuda, Mexico and Canada.

62. I have never been to about 30 or more states, though.

63. I have lived in the same state my whole life (including college).

64. I lived on the campus of my college even though it is about 15 minutes from my parents’ house.

65. I own my own condo.

66. I absolutely hate my downstairs neighbor.

67. She calls all the time when she thinks it’s loud.

68. She’s also been banging on her ceiling a lot lately.

69. I hope she moves or I move soon.

70. If I move first I’m having the loudest party in the world before I go.

71. I like beer, wine and cosmopolitans.

72. I try not to get too drunk because I get nasty hangovers.

73. I love to go out for a long dinner, with lots of cocktails, with my friends.

74. I have a lot of gay friends.

75. I have a permanent retainer behind my bottom front teeth.

76. I’ve never broken a bone.

77. I’ve sprained the same ankle (left) a few times, though.

78. I’ve never stayed overnight in the hospital.

79. I sometimes have bathroom issues.

80. My name is the feminine version of my boyfriend’s real first name.

81. My boyfriend goes by his middle name, though.

82. My last name is kind of weird and I’ve always wanted to get rid of it.

83. My boyfriend has a very "normal" last name.

84. I really like punk and rockabilly music.

85. You’d never know by looking at me, though.

86. My navel is pierced.

87. I don’t have any tattoos.

88. My boyfriend has a lot of tattoos.

89. If we met when we were in high school we probably wouldn’t have liked each other.

90. I’m glad we met when we did.

91. I’m 4 years older than my boyfriend.

92. I have a hard time letting things go.

93. I tend to be insecure.

94. I waste a lot of time comparing myself to others.

95. I tend to worry a lot.

96. I am very loyal.

97. I can’t sleep if the closet door is open.

98. I am very impatient but seem to be improving with age.

99. I consider myself a work in progress.

100. I am very lucky to have so much love in my life and really try not to take that for granted.
