Oh my God, Saturday was so damn fun! There's nothing like a St. Patrick's Day Dropkicks show in Boston, let me tell you. It was seriously in my top 5 (or maybe 10) favorite nights. C and I got along so well and had so much fun together. The backstage pass thing is phenomenal and I'm forever spoiled. Having to stand around in the main bar, waiting in line for the bathroom and not rubbing elbows with as many cool (okay, I guess I mean famous, too) folks just does not seem appealing.

One of my highlights of the night is that I met P.J. Stock of the Bruins. Oh my God, this guy is hot! He's sweet, too, and tolerated my drunken gushing quite well. C took a ton of pictures with his digital camera and I have a few of them - can't wait to see the rest. There's a great one of me and P.J. All I have to say is, poor Ken Casey - there's one picture where I am hugging, actually hugging, the man. Oh Jeez!

At one point, right after the Dropkicks' set, I fell up the stairs going back up to the backstage bar area. Who falls up stairs? I have a big bump and bruise on my knee and a very vague recollection of someone, who was not C, picking me up. It may have even been P.J. Who knows?

All in all, it was an awesome time. It was sort of hard seeing the band while they were onstage from where I was standing, but who cares? Like I said, I'll likely never get the opportunity again. C and G actually dove off the goddamn stage during the set! Pretty good for skinny 30-something guys, I think. I couldn't really see, though. Maybe it'll show up on the DVD.

So, even though I am still exhausted, I'm in a good mood. I have great memories and some cute pictures to occupy me today. Still, it's Monday and I hope the day goes by fast! Happy St. Paddy's Day to ya!
